I love how the lyrics about 'lamb to the slaughter' play over a shot of Jim because he really had no idea what he signed up for until it was far too late. He was led to the amulet, and it got him and his loved ones slaughtered. He paid the price for everyone's crimes and then lived to see how much he'd lost. I don't blame him one bit for choosing to start from scratch. But it's also horrible because he'll never be free of his pain, never be free from the memories that haunt him. It's only going to get worse, because now he will suffer alone with no one to talk to about the dreams, constantly confronted with reminders of the worst moments of his life, yet warped just enough to inflict new trauma. Plus, he'll remember shared experiences that he'll never get to recreate, relationships that will inexorably never be the same as he remembers because the events that shaped those memories never happened or happened differently.

This is still among my favorite AMVs for this show, which is saying something considering the fact that this fandom EXCELS in this category. Anyway, the song, the scene transitions/ editing, and the shots you choose all contribute to making this truly amazing. I believe that’s trickled called Jim young atlas as an act of endearment to acknowledge Jim’s habit of carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. Similarly to the Titan in grew mythology who’s name was atlas.
